Mid-Atlantic Christian University has announced they are shuttering the women’s basketball program for the remainder of the season due to unavoidable circumstances.
Athletic director Andy Meneely said in a statement, “Factors such as ineligibility, injury, and personal decisions have led to us only having 4 remaining players rostered for the spring. We hope to get this rectified for the ’24-25 school year and enjoy a full season of women’s basketball.”
The loss of the Mustangs leaves The Apprentice School with the only women’s team left in action.
