SALISBURY, N.C. – A third quarter scoring drought was the big difference as The Apprentice School women’s basketball team fell Saturday at Livingstone, 70-42.
Livingstone led 10-6 after the first quarter and the Builders kept the game at a four-point margin at the half. In the third quarter, Livingstone outscored Apprentice 27-7 to stretch the lead out before finishing the game in the fourth with a 16-12 advantage.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Jada Bryant led the Builders with 17 points, shooting 7-for-14 from the floor.
- Livingstone had 21 offensive rebounds, converting those to 16 second chance points.
