Southeast Holds Off Millennia for First Conference Win

LEESBURG, Fla. – Freshman Ronal Rodman hit two free throws with less than 10 seconds to play to clinch the win for Southeast Christian, 78-75, over Millennia Atlantic Saturday night.

Southeast (7-4 overall, 1-4 NSAC) led by as many as 14 points but had to hold off a late rally by the Macaws to secure the win.

Sophomore forward Karlton Walton led the Eagles with 18 points, while Lomar Sparrow added 17, Jermarien Williams had 13, and Julius Nelson contributed 11 in the balanced scoring attack. was led by

Millennia (6-5, 1-4) was led by guard Tyus Wilson with a game-high 22 points.

Both teams are off until next Friday when they will compete on the opening day of the Citrus Classic in Miami. MAU will face URBE University in an NSAC contest while Southeast Christian will meet South Florida Tech outside of conference play.
