CONCORD, N.C. – Nick Gravely poured in a game-high 31 points and Barber-Scotia held off Hosanna Bible College for a 115–106 victory in a high-scoring college basketball game on Saturday.

B-SC (4-2) shot 54.1 percent from the field and used balanced scoring and strong interior play to keep Hosanna at bay. Gravely was efficient from all areas of the floor, going 11 of 20 shooting, including three 3-pointers, and adding five assists and four steals.

Landon Griffin added 20 points and five assists for the Sabers, while Aaron Hill chipped in 17 points on 7-of-11 shooting and pulled down seven rebounds. Ian Green contributed 14 points and seven rebounds, and Londen Roseman finished with 12 points and six boards as B-SC totaled 45 rebounds and 21 assists.

Hosanna stayed within striking distance behind hot shooting, finishing at 53.3 percent from the floor and 38.7 percent from beyond the arc. Hosanna knocked down 12 3-pointers and shot 82.4 percent from the free-throw line but struggled to slow BSC’s interior scoring and transition offense.

Barber-Scotia converted 40 field goals and forced timely stops down the stretch to secure the nine-point win.
