Gravely Scores 31 as B-SC tops Hosanna Bible 115–106

CONCORD, N.C. – Nick Gravely poured in a game-high 31 points and Barber-Scotia held off Hosanna Bible College for a 115–106 victory in a high-scoring college basketball game on Saturday.

B-SC (4-2) shot 54.1 percent from the field and used balanced scoring and strong interior play to keep Hosanna at bay. Gravely was efficient from all areas of the floor, going 11 of 20 shooting, including three 3-pointers, and adding five assists and four steals.

Landon Griffin added 20 points and five assists for the Sabers, while Aaron Hill chipped in 17 points on 7-of-11 shooting and pulled down seven rebounds. Ian Green contributed 14 points and seven rebounds, and Londen Roseman finished with 12 points and six boards as B-SC totaled 45 rebounds and 21 assists.

Hosanna stayed within striking distance behind hot shooting, finishing at 53.3 percent from the floor and 38.7 percent from beyond the arc. Hosanna knocked down 12 3-pointers and shot 82.4 percent from the free-throw line but struggled to slow BSC’s interior scoring and transition offense.

Barber-Scotia converted 40 field goals and forced timely stops down the stretch to secure the nine-point win.

Barber-Scotia Thwarts TN Valley Behind Balanced Attack

CONCORD, N.C. – Barber-Scotia rode a trio of high-scoring performances to overpower Tennessee Valley Community Christian 80-76 on Saturday.

Nick Gravely led Barber-Scotia (2-2) with 21 points on 8-of-18 shooting, attacking efficiently inside while adding six rebounds. Londen Roseman added 20 points, including two 3-pointers, and filled the box score with eight assists, six rebounds and two steals. Landon Griffen scored 14 points on 5-of-9 shooting and hit two threes.

The Sabers controlled the glass behind 6-6 forward Ray Brooks, who finished with 15 rebounds and six points while blocking two shots. The team’s balanced effort featured strong interior scoring — BSC combined for 19 made two-point field goals from its top contributors — and steady ball movement that produced double-digit assists.

B-SC also benefited from defensive pressure, with multiple players recording steals and forcing turnovers that kept Tennessee Valley off balance.

Barber-Scotia will be back in action after the Thanksgiving break when it faces Florida A&M in the opening round of the HBCU Hoops Invitational in Orlando, Florida.
